Vinyasa Yoga with Anna
Vinyasa yoga is a breath-synchronized practice that emphasizes fluid movement between postures. The word "Vinyasa" means "to place in a special way," referring to the thoughtful sequencing of poses. Classes typically begin with a gentle warm-up, move into a series of sun salutations and standing poses, and conclude with seated stretches and a final relaxation (Savasana).
What to Expect:
-A continuous, flowing sequence of poses
-Focus on coordinating movement with inhalation and exhalation
-Opportunities to build strength, flexibility, and balance
-Creative sequences that vary from class to class
-A mix of standing, balancing, core, and floor postures
-Mindful transitions and alignment cues
-A calming, meditative cool-down and final rest
Best For:
-Those looking for a physically engaging, rhythmic practice
-Anyone wanting to combine physical effort with mental focus and breath awareness
Optional: Blocks, straps, or props may be used for support and alignment.
